 The field bellflower, also known as the field bindweed, stands out in Formentera for its delicate pink and violet flowers, which appear among the wild vegetation.
 

 
 The name "correvuela" (meaning "flying bindweed") refers to its stems, which spread and intertwine among other plants, advancing across the ground with a light, creeping growth. Its appearance makes it seem as if it is "running" through the vegetation.
 

 
 Its flowers, shaped like a small bell or funnel, add touches of color to the Formentera landscape and are especially attractive for painting and watercolor.
