 Lemon in the gastronomy of Ibiza and Formentera
 
 
 Lemon is part of the traditional cuisine of the Pitiusas Islands, especially as an aromatic ingredient in pastries and some drinks.
 
 
 In Ibiza, it is documented in traditional desserts such as flaó, greixonera and macarrons de Sant Joan, and also in the preparation of Hierbas Ibicencas, where its skin is used to provide aroma.
 
 
 In Formentera, traditional cuisine shares many products and preparations with Ibiza. Among its emblematic desserts are flaó, orelletes, and greixonera. However, not all of them list lemon as a specific ingredient.
