 In spring, Formentera is filled with wildflowers. Daisies appear spontaneously in fields and along paths, covering the landscape with large white patches.
 
 
 This spectacle is part of Formentera's Mediterranean flora and transforms the island's rural landscape for a few weeks. The white of the daisies contrasts with the green of the fields and the warm tones of the earth.
 
 
 The flowers of Formentera have also been a source of inspiration for landscape painting, which finds in the light, colors and nature of the Pitiusas Islands a particularly attractive subject.
